Quilted maple forms this Mystic Vessel 6. This elegant hollow form is not painted or dyed, but has gone through a stabilizing process where the air has been removed from the cells of the wood under vacuum then replaced with a purple, hot pink and yellow resin. The color is accepted in certain areas but not in others, leaving parts of the unique, natural grain to show through. The finial is of ebony with a large void filled with ground turquoise. Vessel has a hi gloss finish.
