Mystic Vessel 2 is of oak, from a downed tree in my yard. It is not painted or dyed, but has gone through a stabilizing process where the air has been removed from the cells of the wood under vacuum then replaced with a purple resin. The color is accepted in certain areas but not in others, leaving parts of the unique, natural grain to show through. Mirror finish
