Ambrosia maple finger bowl with extraordinary purples and greens. It is not painted or dyed, but has gone through a stabilizing process where the air has been removed from the cells of the wood under vacuum then replaced with colored resins. The color is accepted in certain areas but not in others, leaving parts of the unique, natural grain to show through.
