Large bowl of ambrosia maple. It is not painted or dyed, but has gone through a stabilizing process where the air has been removed from the cells of the wood under vacuum then replaced with a red resin. The color is accepted in certain areas but not in others, leaving parts of the unique, natural grain to show through. Finish is satin urethane. For dry foods only.
